IKEA will set up pop up booths in International Airports. They will feature the best selling accent furniture pieces and exclaim that you can travel to any country and come back home with a Swedish Accent. Bigger pieces of furniture will be shipped straight to travelers houses.
Ikea will take people’s pictures with their new accent pieces and post it on Instagram and Twitter.
A micro-site will be released highlighting a heavily discounted “accent of the day.” Like a “word of the day,” the daily Swedish accent will teach people Swedish by highlighting the Swedish word for the accent-piece.
